| Today, many of our families are headed by single mothers raising sons and we have no idea what it means to be a man. We can teach and train from a woman's prespective but never from a man's.
As we see our prison population rise we should do more than wonder why it is happening, we should do what was once done by every family -----TRAIN ----starting very early.
Training should be a joint effort by all family members not just mother.
Fathers where is your since of responsibility toward your children and the future of your family? Only you can answer this question.
Remember we have not forgotten our sons. We will work to bring as many men and women together to address the needs of our sons. Men, fathers, and grandfathers we need you to become frequent listeners, so that your voice is heard and we want you to participate in our annual conferences.
