Join women and girls from around the region for our first Mothers2Daughters Conference on November 22 in Jackson, TN.
We will have entertainment, have open discussions about those things that cause us pain, bring us joy and lessons we have learned. Your experience will be the tool we will use to help other mothers, daughters, sisters, and friends have a better view of the pitfalls life may bring. On this day we will join forces to improve our homes, schools and communities and it will all start with YOU!
We will spend time talking to our young daughters and young mothers about things they can do to strengthen their families and to bring about any needed or wanted changes. We will also LISTEN to our elders and our youth to help implement change.
I know you ask how will this work. It will only work if you are willing to be open and honest. Come with your eyes, ears and heart open to sharing what you have learned and/or what you have witnessed by living and observing others.
The only way we can stop the bleeding is for us to pick up our responsiblity and BEGIN TO TEACH and TRAIN our children from a broader prospective--NOW IS THE TIME!
